*This review is not for the product itself* in terms of how well it performs, but I felt compelled to review it as another warning to the packaging/shipping/quality. I just received the unit today. The outside packaging was completely intact, consisting of a box with good solid bubble wrap inside that. After lifting the unit out of that box it became apparent the front bottom corner had been damaged. Upon closer inspection the unit, at some point, had been dropped on its corner and it was so warped that the door would never be able to seal properly. It's hard to fault Amazon because the outer shipping looked good - my suspicion is that it may have been packaged that way and that Haier has quality control issues. Even the inner (original Haier) box didn't look bad. No way to know for sure. Nonetheless, I thought I would put this out there as another warning - I read several reviews indicating damage/dings to the units. I took a chance and am sorry I did so. Will be returning.

I purchased this fridge to freeze breast milk for my baby. I put it on a stable ground. It worked perfectly at the beginning. However, after 8 months, I saw some whitish discharge at the bottom of the fridge. I opened the fridge and found it stopped working. All the breast milk for my baby were spoiled. I am not sure what is this whitish discharge. It smells, solid and very difficult to clean out. I hope it is not dangerous to my family.
